Born and raise in Pasadena, California, I've been living in Riomaggiore since 2007 with my husband Francesco and our two children, Julie and Kai. We own 11 properties and Francesco also runs a boat tour company in the marina in Riomaggiore. I want guests to have the experience of a boutique hotel, but also feel they're hosted by a local, with a warm welcome. I help every guest with a personalized itinerary and I'll get you in touch with the best of the Cinque Terre. You'll get the guest rate on our top rated boat tours, I'll help with restaurant reservations and other experiences you're interested in to make your Cinque Terre stay top notch.

Opened July 2023: The Upper House consists of 4 beautifully designed guest rooms, with breathtakingly timeless sea and vineyard views. Two of the rooms have a sea view balcony but all are furnished with made in Italy, custom-made pieces. The property has been under the meticulous work of top Italian architect, Marco Pisello and recently opened in July 2023. Perched above the historical center of Riomaggiore, The Upper House is located away from the hustle and bustle of the historical center, in a quiet, residential zone in Riomaggiore. We are located on the fourth floor , so please be prepared to do stairs. If you have luggage, please contact us beforehand and we can book porter service for you (E10/bag).

Neighborhood info

You're in a highly sought after residential area of Riomaggiore - quiet and tranquil, away from the chaos of the historical center. There is an elevator which is located directly in front of our building that connects the lower to upper part of the village. Using the elevator, the historical center is a 5-7 minute walk.
