Casa Orso is a stylish and romantic apartment located just 350 meters from the lake and only steps from the ferry port, train station, and town center. Its central yet quiet location makes it ideal both for relaxing and for exploring the area, with several hiking trails starting nearby. The apartment features a spacious bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe, and a bright living room with an open, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, and a sofa bed that can be prepared on request, comfortably accommodating up to four guests. Both the bedroom and living room have direct access to the balcony, and smart TVs are available in both rooms for your entertainment. The bathroom includes a bathtub, a window for natural light, and a washing machine for added convenience. Outside, the balcony overlooks a peaceful courtyard and is shaded by evergreen trees, offering privacy and a calm atmosphere. Furnished with a hammock, papasan chair, and greenery, it’s the perfect spot for morning coffee, an aperitivo, or relaxing with a book. Casa Orso is dog-friendly and full of character, and also offers a private garage — suitable for small to medium-sized cars (garage entrance approx. 190 cm wide and 183 cm high). If you’re not arriving by car, the garage can just as happily host a motorbike, bicycles, or even a small boat or kayak — because Lake Como adventures come in many shapes and sizes. Conveniently close to the Lecco–Colico/Sondrio railway line and the ferry, it’s the perfect base for exploring the area without a car. Nature lovers? The famous *Sentiero del Viandante* starts right here, offering easy stages and breathtaking panoramic views. Just a short walk away you’ll find the Cenghen Waterfall, a natural gem nestled in the woods, where you can even enjoy refreshing dips beneath the cascade. Culture and tradition come alive among the village streets: medieval frescoes in the Church of San Lorenzo, ancient parish churches, and the Setificio Monti Museum—an old silk mill transformed into a historical museum. In summer, Abbadia Lariana buzzes with open-air events, concerts, outdoor cinema, and traditional festivals like Madonna della Neve on August 5 and San Lorenzo on August 10. The lakeside promenade offers bars, authentic restaurants, local shops, and sports activities (kayak, beach volleyball)—all just steps from Casa Orso.
