Casa Mia is a charming building of the late 19th-century, located in one of the main streets of the historic center of Siracusa, just a 3-minute walk from Ortigia Island. All rooms are en suite and offer air conditioning. The Casa Mia offers a homely atmosphere. The hotel consists of 3 apartments joined by a pleasant internal courtyard. The rooms come with vaulted ceilings and family antiques in an Art Nouveau style. Breakfast includes fragrant rolls, tarts, and homemade jams. This morning treat is served in the breakfast room or in the courtyard during summer. A bus stop to local seaside resorts and nearby towns, such as Noto, is 164 feet along the road, while the train station is only 10 minutes away on foot. The archaeological area, the Paolo Orsi Museum, and the Madonna delle Lacrime Basilica are also within walking distance.
