Breakfast features cold cuts, cheese and eggs, accompanied by homemade donuts. Rooms have refined rustic design, a private entrance and face the pool, garden or countryside. Each is en suite, and includes air conditioning, a mini-bar and flat-screen TV. Wi-Fi throughout is free. On request, expert local guides will pick you up outside the property, where a trail to Mount Etna’s slopes start. Catania Airport is an hour drive away.
