My name is Arturo and I am a farmer. I started the farmhouse in 2002 to integrate the activities of the farm but also following a dream, full of respect for the environment: the preservation of typical resources of our land. Here you will find the Girgentana goats, with their superb spiral horns; blacks pigs from Iblei Mountains and cows from Modica. The guests, moving in a familiar and very informal atmosphere, might be involved in the daily activities in a perspective of self-management (or nearly!) You will be welcome to give an helping hand to clear the table, to make a cappuccino, to revive fire in the fireplace... You will visit the animals, taking part in some way to their care. This approach has the purpose of sharing the rhythms of the farm and the country life. It has become the "trademark" of Terra e Libertà and it makes us genuinely different from any other B&B in the countryside.

"Fattoria Terra e Libertà" (a few km from Siracusa, situated on a hill with a breathtaking view) is a special place for those who appreciate the real farm life! The property is surrounded by a lot of land with luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation; there is an olive grove, almond, carob trees and citrus; a vegetable garden where they grow seasonal vegetables. Many animals on the farm, to the delight of little ones !!! The accommodation consists of 11 rooms, most with private bathroom and all with heating, air conditioning system; towels and a shower kit. The breakfast (which includes home-made food) is included in the price. The B & B has several areas available to guests: a living room with fireplace, a dining room, a breakfast and the bar. The structure, outside, includes: swimming pool, bowling green, children's playground, tennis court, covered patio for dining out and gazebo. All included in the price. A few steps from the BB, there is a cottage in which we can accommodate 4 to 6 people; it's equipped with all comforts, with separate kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
