Ferrara Holiday Home is in a strategic location: 15km separate it from Amalfi and just over 30km from Positano. But Cilento is also quite close, reachable in just over an hour by driving 50 km and passing through Salerno, which is only 10km away. In the opposite direction, Pompeii, one of the most visited archaeological sites in the world, is about 30Km away and Naples just over 50Km. Our house is located in Raito, just a stone's throw from Vietri sul Mare and within easy reach of tourist, historical and archaeological sites such as Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii and Herculaneum.Raito is a hamlet of Vietri sul Mare, nestled among green terraced hills with a magnificent direct view of the sea. "Raito, salus infirmorum "is the inscription that welcomes visitors and tourists at the beginning of the road that goes up the hill to the village.This hamlet is world famous for its stairways, the only way to be able to get around and visit the village, which has only two roads, one at the top and one at the bottom, well connected by Vietri bus lines. A UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the Amalfi Coast, its name derives from the Latin word "ragitus," meaning sun-kissed: its geographical position, in fact, makes it exposed to the sun throughout the day and from the top of its hill it dominates the Gulf of Salerno. For you who want to reach Raito by car from the A3 highway take the exit for Vietri sul Mare and follow the signs for Raito. If you are coming from the Caserta - Salerno, after the gas station, continue to Salerno (about 15 km), take the Salerno exit and follow the signs for Vietri sul Mare, from which you will proceed to Raito. There is paid private parking available in the area, a short walk from our accommodation to be reserved in advance.
