The old 19th century farmhouse, renovated while preserving the original architecture, is surrounded by 8 hectares of land cultivated with mixed citrus groves (clementines, tangerines, lemons, oranges, mandarin oranges, mapo) and orchards (mainly cherries). Ideal destination for those who want to find peace and tranquility. The structure is accessible to the disabled, offers hospitality in 13 rooms for a total of 30 beds, all with bathroom, shower for each room, change of linen, TV, sky, electric kettle, air conditioning. The cuisine that aims at the rediscovery of ancient flavors makes use of typical Sicilian products, homemade pasta, genuine meats, pizza and fruit preserves, accompanied by white or red Sicilian wines. Meda n°88, approximately 300 metre’s at sea level, in close proximity to Taormina, only 16 Km (via autostrada/expressway), and only minutes away from the beautiful beaches. Half an hour drive will take you to the main craters of the volcano of Mt Etna. To find us, follow the below directions:- Via Car & Motorcycle: Exit at the expressway (Autostrada) at A18 Giarre (Catania):- as soon as you exit the tollbooth off the autostrada, follow the road signs towards the division of Macchia di Giarre for some kilometres, towards San Giovanni Montebello , from here, there are only a few hundred metres until "Il Ciliegio dell'Etna".
