IL DUCA D'AMALFI is a "Bed and Breakfast" that offers 4 Private Rooms with their own bathroom. Inside the structure, you can relax in a refreshment corner in the shared kitchen with other guests. There is also a beautiful typical Italian balcony, where you can start your day or unwind with a stunning view. Cooking is not allowed in the kitchen, but you will always find a free coffee corner with coffee, herbal teas, fruit juices, milk, sweet and savory snacks. You can also take advantage of a refrigerator to store both food and drinks. For guests who prefer to sit and have breakfast at one of the best cafes on the main street, I offer the possibility to purchase a voucher for 6,00 euro per person. Every day from 6:30 am at the affiliated bar (just a 5-minute walk away). Breakfast will be served consisting of 3 courses of your choice: coffee/cappuccino/tea, fruit juice, croissant/pizza/toast. The b&b is bright and sunny as it is located on the top floor of the building. The building is modern and has an elevator that takes you to the floor without the use of coins. The strength of this building is definitely its centrality: it is located on the main street of the city between the suggestive ancient city and the modern shopping city. The B&B is surrounded by the best cafes, restaurants, pizzerias, supermarkets, self-service laundries, hairdressers, beauticians, pharmacies, and shops; everything you need is just a few steps away. The strength of this building is definitely its centrality: the train station is just a 13-minute walk away, along the main street without hills or stairs. We have bus stops to reach the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii or Naples, which is just a short 8-minute walk away. The city of Salerno has 2 seaports: the MANFREDI port and the port in Piazza della CONCORDIA. From these ports, through Ferries, you can reach fascinating places such as Positano, Amalfi, and Capri. The 2 tourist ports are within walking distance in about 18 minutes. The route does not include hills or stairs. We remind you that the structure is located in the ZTL area. The ZTLs are zones of restricted circulation situated in Italian cities that have historic centres. Only the local residents and registered vehicles are authorized to drive in. Meaning, you cannot reach the B&B by car. If you need to unload your luggage, just contact us, and we will find the best solution for you. We recommend not putting the address of the structure in the navigator otherwise, you will enter the limited traffic area. You can park your car in the Garage (with a daily cost of 20,00/25,00 ) or in the blue strips on the street (with a cost of 1,00/2,00 euro per hour).
