Our studio is situated in a 600 year old stone building. Shared communal stone entrance and a historic courtyard. lead to the studio's private entrance. Local families also live in the building and therefore you will get the feeling of being part of everyday Italian life! There are little studios on each landing of this old stone house as the building used to be a hostel for pilgrims on their way to Rome and the Vatican City. On entering the studio there is a small kitchen corner, fully equipped with a toaster, kettle, microwave oven and electric hob and also a Nespresso coffee machine, so bring your preferred capsules from home (you are supplied with some complimentary capsules to start you off) There is an eating area for four, including dining table and chairs. The open arrangement of the flat gives an airy feeling to the rooms. Double pallet bed and single bed sleeps up to 3 but would be best for two and at the most a child. Located in the heart of the village behind the main church, keep in mind the bells ring as in every Italian town!! Menaggio Centro is the perfect starting point for your Lake Como holiday.

Menaggio is the largest town of the central lake area. It is also a part of the Triangolo Lariano. The Lario Triangle. Lario is the Latin name of the lake. The triangle connects Menaggio. Varenna and Bellagio. Most possibly the most popular villages. It is also the more "lived in" village of the area with offices, shops, banks, schools and hospital. So not only will you be a part of the tourists staying in the village but you will be surrounded by locals so you will get the feeling of the Italian life style. Menaggio's lake front promenade is one of the nicest of the lake, beautifully taken care of by the council gardeners. Walking the length of the promenade you will reach the largest Lido on the lake, Lido Giardino Menaggio. A great place for a day at the beach, 25mt swimming pool with a kiddy pool as well, large beach with sun loungers, lake access, beach volley, playground and a pizzeria restaurant and brewery to enjoy a meal or an evening.
