We are a young family of four, whose dream it was to breathe new life into our ancestral home, the historic mansion Niedermairhof in Brunico. And here we are, adding another chapter to its inspiring memoirs. We have tried our best to preserve the flair of days gone by that roams the airy hallways while coupling it with extravagant contemporary features and luxurious treats for the eyes and soul. We have a soft spot for the arts, be it painting, sculpture or music. We read, talk and daydream by the pond. We are curious by nature, and appreciate a chat with our friends and guests over a glass of homemade juice. And we simply enjoy sharing all this with our kids. This is what took us down the road to open a B&B, allowing some family time in the afternoon and evening.

Welcome! Years have passed since the Niedermairhof in Teodone/Dietenheim last received guests within its ancient walls. We have now thoughtfully restored the old manor house, blending tradition with modern style and now proudly present eight spacious deluxe rooms. Each room has been individually decorated and we have paid minute attention to preserve old structures while introducing contemporary elements. We set out to create rooms which each represent a special part of the estate. Its fields and pastures have now become an integral part of the building and each room has taken on its own unique flair. Spend an inspiring holiday in a homely yet lavish surrounding and savour a genuine home-made breakfast. The lovely peace and quiet of the house itself with its thick walls and the garden will be sure to reverberate during your stay and long after. You are free to use our meeting room for a stimulating business or learning surrounding. An elevator and barrier-free rooms allow you to move easily throughout the house. You’d need a palette of colours to paint Teodone, Brunico and the Val Pusteria valley. Springtime is when we rise to a clear blue sky and start on an energizing walk along the greening fields of Falzes. We choose to explore the Val Aurina valley, where the still snowy glaciers come into full view and bring back memories of colder days, or head for a bicycle trip along colourful meadows. Summertime is a festival for everybody: we celebrate in the valley, wear traditional costumes at parades and processions, we go to festivals and concerts. We explore the mountains, marvel at the crystal-clear Lago di Braies mountain lake. And take a refreshing plunge in the swimming pools and bathing lakes. Autumn is harvesting season and leaves start to change their colours. After warming our skin we sit by the warm fire in a traditional Stube, blacken our hands as we peel roasted chestnuts and taste the new wine. And then there’s white covering all other colours. Wintertime takes you down the slopes of Plan de Corones or cross-country skiing in Casies and Anterselva. It won’t be long and the first buts of spring herald the beginning of another season.
