Offering panoramic views across the Gulf of Naples, the San Francesco al Monte is a restored 16th-century monastery. It features a seasonal panoramic garden with pool (available for an additional fee). The San Francesco is located at the foot of the hill leading to Sant'Elmo Castle and the Certosa di San Martino Museum. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the Corso Vittorio Emanuele Funicular Railway stop. Rooms here all have views over the bay, with Mount Vesuvius in the background. They are all air conditioned and come with satellite TV, a mini-bar and a private bathroom with shower or bath. Breakfast is buffet style and is served in La Terrazza dei Barbanti restaurant on the 4th floor. You can also make use of Mediterranean cuisine at lunch and dinner.
