The apartment has just been renovated and is located in the heart of the splendid and glorious Ortigia, inside the courtyard of an elegant baroque building. Proudly Sicilian in spirit, contemporary in taste, SicilyMonAmour is a welcoming, clean studio, equipped with every comfort and waiting just to be experienced! Thanks to the central location everything is reachable in just a few steps: restaurants, wine bars, shops and especially all the major attractions of the island! IMPORTANT INFO: this is not a hotel, this is a private home. NO 24h reception. Please get in contact with us for time of arrival. Thanks
ABOUT ME: Sicilian heart, cosmopolitan mindset. I travel a lot for both work and pleasure trying to catch the inner and cultural spirit of the all places I have the privilege to visit. I love my family, art, literature, theatre, genuine food and traditions. Despite being (seriously!) a technological devices addicted, I am still fond of old books and vintage bookshops! ABOUT THE AREA: The apartment is located on the island of Ortigia, the oldest part of the city of Siracusa and Unesco Heritage. Ortigia is about 1 square km of pure poetry between the characteristic alleys, which open onto breathtaking monuments and sunsets over the crystal clear sea. The magic of Ortigia and Siracusa will fascinate you for all 24 hours: the transparent waters for a swim just 150 mt from home, the freshest fish and the folklore of an ancient and colourful Sicilian market, the prestigious museums, the Greek Theatre and the Archaeological Park. In the evening, an aperitif staring at the sunset and to conclude your evenings, Sicilian food awaits you in the many restaurants of the area. For those feeling like some further fun sipping a glass of wine or enjoying live music, the nightlife of Siracusa will delight you until late night!
