Property info

Villa Azzurra is situated in Conca dei Marini, a picturesque village on the Amalfi Coast about 4 kilometers away from Amalfi. Access to the villa is from the coastal highway leading to nearby Positano. The Villa is reachable by a path with very easy and comfortable steps (about 230) taking you directly to the large terrace in front of the dining room. The Villa has a private pool, access to the sea and 3 private terraces: 1) located in front of the dining room and furnished with a table 2) located on the side furnished with deck chairs, an umbrella and swimming pool; 3) a solarium situated on the top of the Villa The access to the sea (110 easy steps from the house) The use of the pool is private and not shared with other people. A large combined living/dining with access to the large terrace with sea view; A kitchen; A bathroom (no shower); Two double bedrooms with two porthole windows each, and furnished with a wardrobe; A bathroom with a showers; A bathroom with two sinks, toilet and a shower. The pool was built the year 2016 and all the outdoor terraces have been restored. The interior furniture is very simple and functional but not luxurious. Access to the sea and swimming pool is closed from 15 October to 30 April

Neighborhood info

Along the road climbing up the month Agerola, at the very back of Amalfi, we encounter another coast, outlined by the earth and not by the sea, made of terraced and fenced gardens but not of beaches. It is the village Conca dei marini, a village scattered among the sky, the sea and the earth. Here the dominant colours is not the deep blue of the sea of Praiano or Positano, but rather the dark green of a prosperous and thick vegetation, here and the spotted by the yellow of the splendid lemons of the coast. A modest charm, less loud but rich of wonderful corns: little churches , little terraces and hillocks with fine views linked to each other by flights of small and narrow steps running around the houses. Conca dei Marini is a village of little white houses, each of them having its own garden: isolated, little houses, far from each other, scattered between the coast and the mountain, from the slopes of the mountain down-wards to a promontory (Conca Cape) so called because of the remains of a sight tower. However, as a homage to the surrounding vegetation, it gathers in its blue a bit of green, the brilliant and ultra mundane green of the water of the Emerald Cave.
