The appartement is on the first floor. with lake view. Distance to the centre and public beach is at 5 minutes walking. A short video of the acccommodation has been placed on YouTube. Look for sybren henstra and then the sections shorts.

Porto Valtravaglia is a picturesque old village (Romanian) on Lake Maggiore. It has a marina, supermarket, bakery, post office, pharmacy, and a daily ferry to the Borromean Islands. It is located 6 km from Luino (the largest market in Northern Italy) and 8 km from Laveno Mombello (ferry to Verbania). Luino hosts the largest market in Northern Italy on Wednesday mornings. In Laveno Mombello, the ferry departs every half hour to Verbania (there is a market on Fridays), on the other side of the lake. Varese is a beautiful old city, where Villa Pallanza is worth a visit. Arona is a lively town, near Sesto Calende. Tip: You can take a boat from Angera to Arona to avoid the traffic congestion.
