Welcome to our Villa il Maiale Bianco B&B. You have found the way to our B&B through the internet and now we will describe the journey to our B&B. The journey to our villa can be made in various ways. From Milan Malpensa you can take the train to Como and then with the bus to San Fedele Intelvi. Do you come by car? Then there are several possibilities. From the south, you drive via Como to Argegno and then take the exit to San Fedele Intelvi. If you come from the north (from direction Lugano), we advise you to drive via Porlezza and in Porlezza set the route guidance to San Fedele Intelvi. Do you like a beautiful mountain ride? Then take the route via Arogno. This road is the old smuggling route from Switzerland to Italy. In the village there are several signposts to our Villa il Maiale Bianco B&B. The villa is managed by Pieter and Wietske. We like to give our guests that special feeling that they are very welcome and give them the impression that they have been coming here for many years. We like to create a homely atmosphere as a B&B is meant to do but with a little extra service.

Our villa is located in Centro Valle Intelvi / San Fedele Intelvi, the valley between Lake Como and Lake Lugano, also called the green heart of Lombardy. The villa is completely furnished in boutique style which makes you feel as if you are in the old times of when the villa was built. Our rooms and the villa have retained all of their characteristic features including the beautiful painted ceilings, old tiled floors and granite staircases. We have 4 rooms including a luxury suite and a family room. All rooms have a private bathroom with stylish furniture. We serve a delicious full breakfast with freshly made fruit salad, fried and/or boiled eggs at breakfast and of course homemade bread. The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with terrace furniture and several lounge sets where you can enjoy a delicious chilled drink served from our bar. From the garden you can see the valley and Monte Generoso.

The area is known for its many hiking and mountain bike trails that often end with spectacular views of the valley and or lakes. The city of Como is 18 km away and the city of Lugano is 11 km from our villa. San Fedele Intelvi is well served by public transport and is well connected to Argegno where the boats stop which take you to all the beautiful villages and sights on Lake Como. Argegno can also be reached by cable car from Pigra. Parking is free and there is always a space. There are also several golf courses nearby and you can go horseback riding, parasailing, canyoning etc etc. The Intelvi valley has many small villages with museums, cozy restaurant and bars where you can enjoy the local cuisine and refreshing drinks.
