Luxurious villa on lake Lugano offering guests stunning views, rich nature and a relaxing experience. Villa Rina consists of two separate and independent, fully equipped houses. The main villa accommodates nine persons in a magnificent three-floor house with classic and antique furniture. The marble floors and statues complement the classic interior of the ground and first floors, while the wooden ceiling and parquet on the 2nd floor give guests a sense of mountain comfort. Guests can rest in three fully-equipped queen bedrooms, one single bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed. Guests can enjoy Italian wine by the fireplace in the living room, study in the library or watch the latest movies on the flat screen TV in the multimedia room. The small villa offers an exclusive chalet experience to a group of up to four people in a fully independent house with a queen bedroom, marble bathroom, cozy living room and fully-equipped kitchen/dining room. Every room comes equipped with heating, towels, bedding, hygiene products and a stunning lake view. IMPORTANT: Reaching the villas requires a short climb, which may not be suitable for people with disabilities and elderly guests.
Marco and Irene are truly passionate to introduce guests to this beautiful part of Lombardy. They are native to the region and believe that villa Rina allows guests to take the most out of the region, by exploring the lake, the nature and the culture of Northern Italy, all while enjoying the comforts of home. Villa Rina is a family-owned and managed property. Marco and Irene are very close family friends, and we are confident that they will take care of all your needs. They live in the neighboring town and will be available 24/7 to help you with anything you need.
Porto Ceresio is a lovely Italian village at the edge of lake Lugano, only 500m from the border with Switzerland. Visitors can enjoy beautiful vistas along the lake shore or in the narrow streets between colorful houses. The commune organizes a weekly flea market on the lake shore and frequent concerts in the central plazza. Tourists can experience Italian cuisine in a number of romantic restaurants and exciting nightlife in the lively bars and cafes. Porto Ceresio is topped by the beautiful Parrocchia S. Ambrogio church. During summertime, visitors can enjoy swimming and fishing in the lake as well as bathing on a number of public beaches along the lake shore.
