With a degree in Law, Andrea has worked for more than 10 years in Human Resources before changing life and opening a B&B. Today he takes care of Villanuvola, writes music, plays guitar and sings. Andrea loves to go to cinema, read american novels and run along the lake's hills. Every year with the nice season by his scooter he looks for new places upon the lake and through the valleys to be suggested to his guests.

Villanuvola is our dream become true, a great choice of life we decided to share with many people in the whole world who are able to appreciate a different kind of hospitality, blessed with cosiness and courtesy. Our daily mission is to make our guests feeling like at home and let them taste every pleasure of staying upon the Lago Maggiore, suggesting trails, restaurants, beaches and attractions. We also propose trips on our boat, always appreciated by guests who want to discover the most secret corners of the lake and who love to take a bath in clearest waters.

Neighborhood info

Villanuvola is located in the historical centre in Meina along the piedmontese bank of Maggiore Lake. It stands opposite to Rocca in Angera and only 100 metres far from the beach. Thanks to its strategic position, it’s the ideal point to reach the most charming villages upon the lake in a short time such as Stresa, Borromee Islands, Val Grande, Pallanza, Orta Lake, Arona, Mottarone Mountain. Meina is also an excellent starting point for nice excursions on foot, walking for less than 3 km will carry you at imposing San Carlo's statue that dominates the lake. People who loves trekking may discover the amazing villages and woods through the hills above Meina.
