It is a ryokan that has been reopened for the first time as the Futaya Group at Hirayu Onsen, which has been around for 1000 years. There are 4 private hot springs, 2 indoor baths and 2 outdoor baths, and you can take a bath anytime from check-in to check-out. (No reservation required) In addition, from the room with mountain view (11 rooms), it is possible to overlook the mountains such as Yorodake (2745m), Mt. Nekodake (2581m) and Mt. Iwodake (2554m) in Norikura.

Hirayu Onsen is a convenient base for mountain climbing, with a 25-minute bus ride to Kamikochi, a 50-minute bus ride to Norikuradake, and a 40-minute bus ride to Shinhotaka Onsen. In addition, direct express bus is operated from Tokyo, Shinjuku, and access is possible from Tokyo without transfer. (Direct bus: 4 hours 40 minutes)
