Rooms include a full private bathroom. Guests at Hotaka Hotel can choose between a contemporary Western room and a Japanese room with tatami (woven-straw) floors and futon beds. All include a satellite flat-screen TV and electric kettle. An art gallery and souvenir shop provide opportunities for discovery. The lobby has free Wi-Fi. Guests can relax in the reservable private hot-spring baths or unwind with a massage. Multi-course dinners are served at the banquet hall or the hotel's restaurant and feature Hida beef, well-known in Japan for its flavor and texture. The last bus from JR Takayama Train Station to Shinhodaka Onsen Station leaves at 17:40 and arrives at 19:13.
