Neighborhood info

This property is mid-mountain on a ski run at Togari Onsen, which means it is ski-in/ski-out. However, in winter there is no walking access to the shops, restaurants and bus stop so you will NEED to bring rental cars. Quiet resort, all levels of terrain, and same massive snowfalls as Nozawa Onsen or Madarao. Easy access to Shin-etsu trail for hiking and trail-running. Beautiful rural location to experience the Japanese countryside. Restaurants, bars, shops, and onsen baths at bases of the resort are 1.5 kilometers from the chalet. Great central location for snow sports, snow monkeys, culture, and more. Over ten other resorts are super close.
