Guests can enjoy a panoramic view of Takayama Jinya from their rooms, and to witness the sunset over Jinya could be the highlight of their trip. Our accommodation uniquely blends the best aspects of hostels and hotels, featuring only five rooms. It offers a homey atmosphere and private spaces, providing guests with the ultimate relaxation experience.

⚫︎Takayama Jinya Located right in front of our accommodation, Takayama Jinya is a historic government building constructed during the Edo period. Visitors can experience traditional Japanese architecture while learning about the political and administrative practices of the time. Don't miss the morning market held every day. ⚫︎Old Town Within walking distance from our accommodation lies the "Old Town," dating back to the Edo period. This area, lined with beautiful traditional buildings, is perfect for strolling and enjoying local crafts and specialties. We especially recommend visiting the local sake breweries for tastings and purchasing traditional crafts. ⚫︎ Hida Folk Village A short journey away is the "Hida Folk Village." This open-air museum features traditional thatched-roof houses that have been relocated and preserved, offering visitors a glimpse into the traditional lifestyle of old Japan amidst beautiful natural surroundings. ⚫︎Shirakawa-go Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is another must-visit spot. Accessible by bus from our accommodation, this area is renowned for its picturesque gassho-zukuri farmhouses, which are truly a sight to behold.
