Kalik House is a traditional, warm Japanese house located in the centre of the Nozawa Onsen village. It’s an easy walk to everything that you may need. The shops and most of the restaurants are less than 5 minutes walk and the slopes are only 10 minutes. Kalik house features two tatami rooms with ample storage that can accommodate up to 10 people on futons. The common areas include a tatami living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a second shower room, washing machine and dryer. The living room can be used as a bedroom. It has parking for one small (“kei”) car in the summer, however there is no car parking during winter.

Traditional quaint Japanese village with fantastic snow (up to 12 meters/year!) and plenty of public onsens to enjoy at the end of a long day on the slopes. The locals are really friendly and the town is beautiful. And as an extra bonus, Nozawa was the host of the 1998 Winter Olympics! During the summer, the gondolas open for mountain biking activities.
