We are seventh generation of Tomii family, who have lived in Nozawa for more than two hundred years. Kenji Tomii, who was one of the first Japanese ski students of Mr. Hannes Schneider, started a family run inn called “Tomiken” about 70 years ago. Since then, we have kept the business for two generations. In 2023, we launched a newly renovated apartment style hotel called “Norichanchi”. Nori-chan is nickname for Asami Tomii(owner of Tomiken and Norichanchi)’s mother. And Norichanchi is the house where Asami was born and raised. Actually, Norichanchi is just one minute walk from Tomiken where she lives. We look forward to hosting guests in the beautiful Nozawa Mountain and Town.
