Located in the center of Takayama city, Machiyado ICHIRYU offers comfortable accommodations on just a 5-minute walk from the Old Town. The nonsmoking hotel features 3 beautiful private hot spring baths and free Wi-Fi. Guests at ICHIRYU can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks at the Premium Lounge. ICHIRYU Ryokan is only a 3-minute walk away from the Miyakawa Morning Market, as well as from the ancient Hida Kokubunji Temple. Takayama Station is a 7-minute walk away. Rooms are spacious and cozy atmosphere, with comfortable beds and futon on tatami-mat flooring. They are conveniently furnished with semi-open-air bath, mini-bar, an LCD TV, a fridge and an electric kettle. As well as ICHIRYU’s healing hot spring, guests enjoy free access to Spa hotel ALPINA a 5-minute walk away, which features outdoor hot-spring baths with amazing views of the city. Delicate and luxurious cuisine are served in a private room at the restaurant in a separate building "IROHA TEI". The hotel specializes in multi-course menu featuring delicious local beef.
