Ryokan Tsuchi to Ito reopened in August 2023. It consists of two rooms, the main house of the village headman, which is believed to have been built before the Meiji period, and an earthen storehouse, which has been fully renovated and reborn. The modern structure is a fusion of the past and the present, and the ryokan is limited to one guest per day.
Omi-village is located in the center of the Matsumoto/Azumino and Nagano city areas. The village has a rich history of the past, and is home to the Zenkoji Highway's Omijuku Inn. Hijiri Kogen Plateau has been a vacation home area for a long time and has a lake, a ski resort, and a golf course. A short train or car ride away from Hijiri Kogen, you can see Chikuma City and Nagano City. The view of the moon from Mt,Obasute Mt. It has historically been the subject of literature and paintings, and is one of the most famous places for moon viewing in Japan. The night view from there is also spectacular, and has been selected as one of the three best night views from a train window in Japan. The inn also offers easy access to the Northern Alps, hot spring resorts, famous shrines and temples, ski resorts, etc. Enjoy touring around Shinshu starting from the inn.
