This place was self-built over a period of about eight months with a total of 100 friends. Check-in is at other guesthouse (Guesthouse Tomaru). There is always staff there, so you can easily answer any questions you may have. The guesthouse is in a great location, just a five-minute walk from the station and bus terminal, and an eight-minute walk from the old town and morning market, which are tourist destinations. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it's a convenient location. We will also post restaurant information. Because this is a guesthouse, there are no amenities and the soundproofing between the rooms is poor, but we hope that you will cooperate with other guests and have a comfortable stay. The bare necessities are provided (we do have small bath towels).

Hello. We are a couple from Tokyo and Osaka who moved to Takayama and have been running a guesthouse for 14 years. Our children were born and raised in Takayama and occasionally drop by guesthouse. WE used to work as tour guides and hiking guides in Canada, so we can communicate in English, so please feel free to come.
