Casa Clara is located right in the center of town, tucked away behind my store, Cosmic Milkshake, in a lovely garden and green space. The beach is a 4 minute walk and you'll be close to all the restaurants and shops. Casa Clara, a 1-bedroom with full indoor kitchen and large terrace is connected to Casita Lucita, which is a 1-bedroom casita with outdoor kitchenette so that two couples or two friends can enjoy holidaying together but have their own private spaces. Both units have Air Conditioning units for use when it's hot from June to October.
I, Tracey, have lived in this area for twenty-one years now (wow, time is flyin'!) and just five years ago moved from Sayulita to Lo de Marcos where I renovated this old brick building built in the 70s and opened a shop called Cosmic Milkshake out front. I then got to work renovating the back casitas for guests and planting out the garden. There was already a large stand of bananas, a yaka tree, a guava tree and three tall coconut palms so it didn't take much to make it more beautiful! In 2024 I built myself a small casita in the very back of the large lot, hidden behind the bananas, and am living there now with my three cats. They may visit you on occasion :) In the summer of 2026 we are building my mom a casa in the back where the bananas were - but there is still an expanse of green garden for Casa Clara and everyone has their privacy :)
People love just walking out the gate to the main street of Lo de Marcos where all the shops and restaurants are...plus it's just a 4 minute walk to the beach. Great location! And, of course, my store Cosmic Milkshake is right out front with all it's beautiful goodies from all over Mexico and some items from my travels to Marrakech, too.
