We moved to the Kapiti Coast permanently after having a beach house here for some years. Recently 47 Rosetta Rd came onto the housing market and we purchased it solely to offer to guests as an upmarket holiday accomodation and for family and friends to enjoy from time to time as well. We live nearby and love the location. We love the beautiful beach and views of Kapiti Island. The climate is considerably better than Wellington City with more sunshine and higher temperatures. The facilities' here are also excellent with great shopping, restaurants cafes parks etc all within easy access. The new motorway into Wellington makes for easy travel into the city by car or train.

Travel by ferry to Kapiti Island Bird sanctuary for the day or stay overnight. Bookings essential. Queen Elizabeth Park is within walking distance and is a great walk with bike trails as well. Numerous bike tracks. Parks. Southwards Car Museum. World famous Paraparaumu Golf Course Kapiti Rd Kapiti Golf Club Valley Rd Movie theatres. Shopping centres. Waterfront Bar and Restaurant. Sunday Cantina. Raumati Social Club. Rosetta Rd Cafe. Thai Lagoon. Banana Leaf Malaysian Restaurant. Some of the many restaurants and cafes.
