You can't see the Villa from the road so you'll need to go slow once you turn into Panorama Road or you'll miss it and then you'll have to do a U-turn to come back down. Look for #14 sign on your left if you're coming back down, otherwise it is immediately on your right when you turn into Panorama. If you're arriving at night, it pays to put your high beams on when you're driving up to the Villa. We arrived in the afternoon, but we spent a bit of time with family so would come back to the villa in the late evening. Once we arrived however, Rob and Cherry welcomed us with warmth and made us feel immediately at home. They showed us to our room and took us on a little tour of the facilities, including the outside. It is a beautiful location, Rob and Cherry have obviously put in a lot of work to maintain the gardens which is full of beautiful flowers. I wasn't sure what to expect as there weren't a lot of information online, but Rob had left some printed information in our room which I appreciated. All in all, I am very happy that we found Cherry Villa. Rob was great at communicating with us all time. Anyone that comes here will love it here. You'll enjoy the peaceful surrounding and the view is amazing. It is for not suitable for bigger groups but if you're a solo traveler or travelling in two, you will definitely love it here. Thank you so much Rob and Cherry for being great hosts. We felt sad at leaving your beautiful villa. Our Ocean room was just perfect, and our bed was the most comfortable. We slept well and just had good night's rest. Thank you Rob and Cherry.

Very handy location for walks by the sea and to the shops, with a gorgeous view and spacious deck to enjoy the outdoors. The studio furniture and bed were very comfortable and the place was extremely clean and well equipped. Our host was very welcoming, helpful and respectful of our privacy.

Jen's welcoming and check-in process. We liked the ambiance, the birdsong and surrounding environment, its proximity to local amenities, it's quiet, private, with off street parking. We both slept all the way through the night which is rare when staying away from home. Shower was great. We had everything we needed, including information about local eateries.

The location of this property is fabulous. Looking directly out at Kapiti Island. Great in all weathers. We made good use of the spa pool. The kitchen is well equipped. Good instructions on how to use everything. I would stay there again. Many thanks.

Unfortunately motel doesn't have meals available so went to Paraparaumu beach to a small takeaway called the Fed Up and had a feed of blue cod. Would recommend it to anyone who likes fish. good size meal for a reasonable price.

Paraparaumu is part of the Kapiti Coast.

Paraparaumu is part of the Kapiti Coast. The beach is great for walking and beachcombing, not sure about swimming though. You can catch a boat over to Kapiti Island which is a bird sanctuary. Just a bit inland is the Coastland Shopping centre, with a good shopping mall and eateries, and also a couple of supermarkets, useful when self catering. Beyond the front, it is more of a residential town, but there is a railway station, were you can get the train to Wellington, takes about an hour, great for a day out. Also, easy access to State Highway 1, with lots of places to visit .

There is no Uber, only their local Taxi, which makes getting around without a car quite difficult They do have a lot of Beaches and Reserves close by, and when I stayed at the White House up the hill, I had an epic view with the best Sunset.

A stunning location.

A stunning location. We only stumbled across it and will definitely recommended the area to others. Has a lots to offer visitors, including a great shopping area. Our host recommended eating at the Fishermens Table restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal there. The staff were excellent and we loved the beach view.

They were lovely to us.

They were lovely to us. We were asked what we would like for breakfast and were given a freshly cooked breakfast. Very friendly owner who was happy to help in any way. Very clean, comfortable, balcony off our room overlooking the beautiful views of the coastline. Would have liked to stay longer if our schedule allowed it.

My husband and I loved the very comfortable bed and the dark curtains. That was a huge bonus for us, and we got a great night's sleep. Very quiet and private. Perfect for a short stay for a family event we attended in Paraparaumu. Easy location.
