Arrowtown Delight sits on the highest ridge in Arrowtown, overlooking the Wakatipu valley, with stunning 180 degree views from The Remarkables on the left to Coronet Peak on the right. This is a modern, warm & very cleverly designed house which maximises its location, views & sunlight - a delightful family home. The ground floor comprises a large (queen) bedroom with adjoining (single) child's bed & shared bathroom with outdoor terrace & private walled garden with a separate entrance. We will greet you on arrival, show you around, explain some of the key rules & give you your key, which opens the main bedroom from both inside and outside& outside. The nightly tariff includes a healthy continental breakfast with tea, coffee, jams & spreads available along with a selection of (non-alcoholic) drinks in the bar fridge.

After 18 wonderful years in Sydney, Australia (having migrated originally from the UK in 1993) & after 3 children in 3.5 years, Sara & James were ready for a change of lifestyle & having always loved the Queenstown / Wanaka area of NZ's South Island, made the move in January 2012, initially renting a 15 hectare lifestyle property in Dalefield before moving into Arrowtown in late 2015. It's the best lifestyle ever - mountain biking, fishing, hiking & camping in the warmer months, skiing / snowboarding in winter.

Arrowtown is a really friendly community, with a great school, a diverse collection of inhabitants from all over the world & everything you need for a great holiday - an awesome pub (The Fork & Tap), great cafes for breakfast (Provisions & The Dishery being our favourites), Dorothy Browns for movies, the infamous Blue Door wine bar & enough restaurant options to keep most people happy (La Rumbla, Postmasters Residence & The Stables in particular with Ayrburn now our new favourite !!). The walking options start from an hour's circuit around the Arrow River to half day & full day hikes up to brow peak & Big Hill whilst a bike ride around Coronet Peak in summer or to Macetown in autumn are personal favourites. And then, only 20 minutes away, is Queenstown, with 200 clubs, pubs cafes & restaurants as well as numerous well known attractions. But after an active day out, its always lovely coming back home to Arrowtown..
