Neighborhood info

We are situated on an elevated, north facing site, nestled amongst mature trees. Our motel units are bathed in morning sun and sheltered from the wind. The trees are home to native birds, such as Tuis, fantails & quail. We are only 2.2km from the town centre, a scenic 25 minute walk into town, via beautiful Wanaka Station Park. Here you can learn about the history of Wanaka and have the opportunity to snap some pictures of the impressive gardens, and of course, the famous, 'Wanaka tree'. Roys Peak track is only 5km down Mt Aspiring Road, the gateway to Mt Aspiring National Park and well known day trips, such as Rob Roy Glacier & the Diamond Lake Walk. Be sure to ask our friendly reception staff for advice on what is best for your time frame and ability.
