Our Apartment has one private bedroom with a Queen Bed + a small Double Bed in the open-plan sunroom, and a Double Sofa that opens up on the floor in the lounge - it is small and compact, but can sleep up to five comfortably - so long as you are happy to stay in close proximity to each other. Pilot Bay is to one side for a gentle swim in Tauranga's Harbour as you watch the cruise ships depart at sunset, and Ocean Surf Beach to the other, for fun in the waves. Through the window, you will feel like you are already halfway up the majestic Mauao, with its popular walking tracks and stunning views, and Mount Mainstreet's dining, retail shops, and entertainment buzz is just a couple of minutes' walk in the other direction. This apartment is ideal for a business trip, a romantic break away, or a small family holiday, with fully equipped cooking facilities and everything you need for a short-term let, or extended stay. When you walk through the door, you will see how we have strived to combine modern comforts and stylish décor with the original character and retro fittings from Avenida's early days as an '80s motel. She's an old building for sure - but it’s not in a multi-story hard-to-get-to apartment complex with the standard ho-hum decor, and there is free parking right outside (not down in a basement) - an absolute bonus on the weekends and in the height of summer! The apartment is located on the first floor, up one flight of stairs, and is easy to self-check in and come and go as you please. And of course, the space is fully equipped for self-catering + a leisurely stroll to all the cafes and restaurants. Whether it's 1 on a Business Trip, 2 for a Mini-Break, 3 for a Triathlon, 4 for Surf Lifesaving Champs, 5 for a concert - or family fun in the sun, we have a place for you to stay!

Within walking distance of all the Mount's attractions and activities, just 2 mins walk / 200 meters to the beaches on either side, 4 mins walk/300 m to the base of Mauao, and the same to Mount Mainstreet - yet enough distance away that you won't hear any late night / early morning noise from the restaurant and bar scene. Mercury Baypark Events Centre and Stadium, and Central Tauranga are just 15 mins drive/8 km away if you are attending a concert, event, sports, or festival, and Blake Park Sports Grounds is just 2km/6 mins drive or 30 mins walk away. The Little Big Markets at Coronation Park (on every second Saturday) are just an easy 12 mins walk away too.
