It was our first time in Tauranaga and we are glad we did this trip.
I had the privilege of having a round of Golf at the 'Mount Mauganui Golf Course' It was a delight to share the opportunity with a couple of local players, who became great friends by the rend of the round.
For the wife's interest in Shopping, we spent time at the 'Bayfair Shopping Centre' and the 'Tauranga Crossing Shopping Centre'.
We also had a lovely morning at the Beachfront - of Tauranga Downtown City Centre, with a little market with a good range of goods.

A very comfortable neat and tidy home ideally located with a bunch of treasured friends.
Well stocked kitchen in terms of utensils and crockery. Very user friendly.
Thanks to Jessica for the bottle of milk in the fridge which was so handy.
The location was at a very close distance to a new place of worship 'Lakshmi Narasimhan Temple' on Chadwick Road which was an added advantage to us . The Mithai shop next to the temple is a bonus.
We drove to the Main Beach and the well paved sea shore for a morning walk A lovely meal at our always favorite 'Easy go Thai' and another at Sugo was awesome. Don't ever miss the Cauliflower pizza at Sugo.

Tauranga CBD has been Ruined by excessive building of too high and bulky commercial office spaces, not people friendly at all! The roading muck up sees no parking outside many businesses too.
Not a lot to do there either.

The city is very clean and although there is a lot of construction work happening we still manged to get parking for our 18 seater bus wherever we went. The staff in shops, restaurants and at Bennetts Motel are so pleasant and friendly with amazing customer care. I'm definitely coming back. Thank you.

People are friendy, town is buzzing even for a Tuesday and Wedensday night. Great food in town. Waimarino is great for any age. Busses go regularly, but I feel a car is better. Nice save mart. The airport is not to far out of town.

I had an early admission to Tauranga hospital for surgery with an overnight stay. We travelled to Tauranga the night before. Our room was a good size with kitchenette, dining table and 2 lounge chairs. A comfy king size bed. It was modern, warm, clean and quiet. We were close to the hospital, for my husband to be able to return to and relax. The facilities close by are a bonus. It suited our stay. It is definitely one of the nicer motels we have stayed in for a while. Highly recommend.

Having a wine on a sunny Friday afternoon, on the deck overlooking the beautiful Tauranga Harbour, listening to some great sounds from the one piece band who played from 5pm-8pm. Fabulous. Lovely room. Spectacular views. Love this hotel. Will definitely be back.

Good size house with plenty of room. The property is cheap compared to others but with that you have to be prepared for the facility offering a cheap rate standard are not going to be high.
