Come and enjoy stunning panoramic views of Welcome Bay through to fabulous Mount Maunganui from our home. We offer you a home away from home. We offer three quiet rooms, a Deluxe Queen, Double and Single room with a peaceful garden/bush outlook. The Deluxe room includes a private balcony. Other guests are invited to share the host's balcony and enjoy relaxing sea views. A continental breakfast is provided to start your day in the host's dining room. We provide a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge and microwave/convection oven for preparing meals and complimentary tea and coffee. Guests share a modern bathroom with a bath tub, shower and complimentary bath salts and bubbles. Walking tracks, waterfalls, shops, takeaways, bus stop are nearby for your convenience. The CBD, Mt Maunganui and Papamoa beaches, are a short drive away. Bus No. 40 provides a ride to the CBD for those guests without transport.
We are a happily married couple in our senior years who love to host guests from all around the world. One of our passions is photography and we combine this with International travel. Sharing travel stories with our guests is one of favourite things to do. We love interacting with guests, however we are happy to keep this to a minimum, if that is your preference.
We live in a quiet cul de sac, bordered by a park and reserve. Local activities include Kaiate waterfalls, Mt Maunganui and a selection of beaches. Our location provides plenty of choice for outdoor activities which include swimming, hiking, surfing, bike riding and climbing.
