Mable and Danny both are graduates from the top Swiss Hotel Association Hotel Management School Les-Roches in Crans-Montana Switzerland. Since Danny's graduation in 1999, he joined the Four Seasons Hotel Group and worked in the Four Seasons Hotel in different countries and locations. During over 20 years of hotel experience, Danny has had various management roles in international hotel chains like Four Seasons and Frasers Hospitality. We both like travel, fine wine, cooking,hiking, gardening and making new friends. The Country Villa was an old three-bedroom Victorian style villa originally built in 1906 in Epsom Auckland. It was bought and transported to Rotorua in 1997 by new owners who undertook major renovation and restorations incorporating all modern comforts. With the intention to develop the old building into a boutique luxury bed and breakfast, three new double bedroom ensuites were constructed downstairs, which were given the names of Rose Room, Verdi Room and Country Room. All rooms have tranquil and beautiful garden views. One of them is suitable for the elderly and disabled. During the morning, sunshine rises above Lake Rotorua Lake, floods through stained-glass windows of this lovely country home. Colored friezes run at ceiling height around every room; as befits Anneke and John - two former professional rose growers, the house design emphasizes flowers. An antique chandelier is suspended over the table in the five-sided breakfast lounge. In the winter, a log fire in the guest lounge offers a cozy atmosphere on those cool evenings. A peaceful hideout and tranquil retreat, Country Villa is great place for you to stay and relax during your visit to Rotorua.
