Courtenay B & B is named after a previous B & B that we owned in Courtenay Drive. We take pride in our property and garden and just love sharing it with our guests. Your room has a separate entrance and a beautiful full bathroom. The bed is king size and our guests tell us the bed is so comfortable they want to take it home! The view is out to our back garden. The rate includes a yummy breakfast. Kaiapoi is just North of Christchurch City (around 25 minutes drive) and just 15 - 20 minutes drive from Christchurch Airport.
Joy & Norm are your hosts. We are both semi-retired. Joy has a background in tourism and event management. Norm not only looks after the home garden but also the large gardens at a local retirement home - his background is real estate and farming support. Joy is also involved in the local Community Garden and is passionate about Kaiapoi (River town) and the surrounding areas. They both enjoy cycling around the river and using the cycle track to the nearest township which is Rangiora.
Our neighbourhood is based around Kaiapoi Lakes. The Kaiapoi Golf Club is just across the road from the housing area. We are just 5 minutes drive into Kaiapoi town centre and a great selection of restaurants. If our guests would like to have a few drinks with their dinner we are happy to do drop off and pick up when required. Kaiapoi is built on the river and has a village feel to it. We are just 15 - 20 minutes North of the airport and around 15 - 20 minutes drive into Christchurch city. There are some really nice cycling opportunities around the river.
