Set down a private lane overlooking Diamond Harbour, Quail Island, our luxury holiday home is ideal for families, with local amenities, beaches, parks, walking tracks all within easy reach. Sit on the patio and enjoy a glass of wine or a Nespresso coffee on the house, whilst watching the sun glistening on the sea. TV, radio with surround sound, Netflix, Wifi, everything you ever dreamed of for a luxury retreat at affordable rate!
Kia ora, as the director of business in several tourist industry, I understand how important to feel like home while you are on the road. Diamond Harbour Hidden Gem is a holiday house we use for ourselves, as well as hosting our friends and families when they visit. We provide the best quality bedding because we understand the importance of a good sleep. We provide essentials like milk, coffee, tea, snacks, fruits, etc. although there is a small grocery shop just around the corner. We also provide car rental as part of our other business and airport pick-up (Ts&Cs Applied). Most importantly, as a dog owner of two big furry babies, we understand how important for you to have them with you on the journey. We are here to answer your questions anytime.
Convenience is enhanced by the proximity to local Diamond Harbour town within 5 mins, public transport routes and zoning for Cashmere High School. Ferry to Lyttelton from Diamond Harbour town is operated daily and a short stroll of 30 minutes drive to Christchurch town, 50 minutes drive to Christchurch International Airport ensures an easy access to this private get-away perfect holiday house. What's more, it is an epic drive through the Port Hill mountain with great views of the Bank Peninsula. Puru Bay, Church Bay and lots of beach access are just around the corner. Orton Bradley Park, the hidden Gem, offers you great family activities ranging from the famous Rhododendron Walk to the popular Waterfall Gully Track and beyond to the DOC Packhorse Hut or Mt Herbert. A 9 hole golf course, children's adventure playground, with flying fox situated next to a small stream are for all members of the Whānau.
