We have a flatlet on the ground floor with two spaces. One is a bedroom and the open plan living area has a fold out sofa bed with a real mattress and a twin / single bed. We can easily accommodate a family of 5. There is an interlinked second bedroom with a queen bed but this room is not always available and guests to request availability if required. We provide A smart TV, games and books to keep the little ones busy. In summer they can swim (pool fenced for safety) and all year round our garden is a relaxing haven. Our space is so sunny and opens onto the garden and outdoor BBQ area. The property is not directly on a road so it is quiet and peaceful.
We are a Christian family with one cat. We enjoy meeting people and helping them with holiday tips and have travelled a lot ourselves to Africa, Europe, Australia and Asia as well as within NZ. We immigrated from South Africa in 2002 and have always lived in Tauranga. Both of us have or are working in careers in the architectural and project management sectors. We love fishing, art, nature and good wine. We look forward to meeting you and sharing a laugh or two.
Our property is located in a quiet residential area. It is 45min walk or 20 min cycle to the city and there is a bus, 5 min walk up a hill that travels to the city every half hour. Unfortunately, it stops after 7pm. The famous Mount Maunganui beach is only 12km away and we cycle this often. You are welcome to use our bikes if we are not using them. There are some lovely places to eat or takeaways within 10 min walk. Having a car is better but we are happy to give you a lift to the city or other places if it is not too far out of our way.
