Farm cottage set on the edge of our dairy farm in beautiful rural Gordonton only 2 minutes from the Historic Woodlands Estate
Dairy Farmers who want to share our beautiful rural surrounds with travellers.
A rural community close to cafes and only 15km from Hamilton. There’s a lovely café just 2 minutes down the road. Garden Grove Café (open 9am–3pm) serves the best French toast I’ve ever had, along with lots of other delicious options. It’s set in the beautiful grounds of the historic Woodlands Estate. Another great option is MatteBlack Café, located in Gordonton Village just 4 km from your cottage and open 7am–3pm. If you’d like to explore the area, here are a couple of local favourites: Arkanda Antiques – 128a Whitikahu Rd, open Wed–Sun, 10am–3pm, right across the road from your cottage. The Mandarin Tree Art Gallery – 1028 Gordonton Rd, open Tues–Sun, 10am–5pm, and definitely worth a visit while you’re here.
