My property is a lovely space where guests are welcome to enjoy the lounge, dining room and outdoor areas around the house. I have a quiet, private, sunny backyard surrounded by trees and gardens. The sun comes in all day and my home is light and bright. Complimentary tea and coffee is available. Please note: The kitchen is unavailable to cook meals. However there is a microwave, kettle and toaster available for your use. There is also crockery, cutlery, cups and glasses available too.
Welcome to my home. I have been hosting bnb on and off for around 15 years, in Auckland and here in Waihi. I have travelled to many places around the world. I enjoy meeting people, learning about their countries and sharing travel stories. I enjoy walking, reading, creating mosaics, gardening and spending time with family. I hope you have a wonderful experience in my home and in our lovely little town. It's a very special town with friendly, happy, welcoming people.
My home is only a short walk to town, the lovely Gilmour Lake and Martha's Mine. It's a historical town, gold mining being at the forefront of its history. There are some lovely cafes with really nice coffee and food available and a small number of restaurants. Waihi Beach is about 10kms away and is a beautiful space to enjoy.
