Island View has an outstanding elevated position overlooking the Tauranga Harbour and towards Mauao, a significant ancestral mountain and reserve also known as Mount Maunganui, which is within a 45 minute drive. Your comfortable, bright and airy accommodation complete with a Queen size bed and a lazy boy sofa is ideally located for long walks around our scenic peninsula or bring your bikes and traverse the many cycle tracks in our area, or you can just kick back and enjoy the beauty and safety of sandy beaches during your stay. Our delightful Omokoroa Beach is just a 15 minute walk away and the swimming and surfing beaches of Mount Maunganui within a 45 minute drive. We are very fortunate to have several wonderful eateries, pubs, coffee houses and a supermarket local, all within walking distance. We very much look forward to welcoming you at Island View!
