Rural bliss with the opportunity to stop or not as the mood takes. Fishing, Mountaineering, Beaches, Shops, Pies and cakes. All within a short drive from our place. Swimming holes too. We are pet friendly and everyone is welcome Luxury studio overlooking farmland with all day birdsong. We are Pet Friendly. We have two dogs and we welcome other hounds too. Make use of our firepit for those long summer nights. (Great for cooking too). 30 minutes to Raglan either by state highway 27 or take the picturesque drive over Fillery road and enjoy expasive vistas of hills and sea. 25 Minutes to Hamilton and the Base and 10 Minutes to Pirongia Village. Pirongia Mountain access within 10 minutes and several walkways right on our doorstep including the Te Araroa National Walking Trail literally across the road. 3 minutes to the local swimming holes and plenty of world renowned fly fishing. Mountain Bike trails are 10 minutes away on Pirongia Mountain. Waitomo Caves is a short drive away. Breakfast (cereal and toast, juice & great coffee) is provided. Seasonal farm grown fruit too at no extra cost. A cooked farmhouse breakfast is available upon request
We are a well travelled, laid back couple who enjoy life. We have dogs and cats and chooks and ducks, oh and some cattle. Life is good. We have now added a deck to the B&B so come sit and enjoy the tranquility.
Think traditional rural New Zealand with a luxurious twist. Plenty to do .. or not as your mood takes. Mountains and streams and cafes and pubs .. all close. 30 minutes to Raglan over the picturesque fillery road route. Kawhia is 1 hour.. waitomo as well Hamilton is 25 minutes.. shopping .. eating .. walking the river trails and the Te Araroa Trail is literally across the road from our drive way.
