Miranda Homestead Bed & Breakfast offers comfortable accommodation at Miranda in the country 1 hour from Auckland International Airport and is at the entrance to the scenic Coromandel Peninsula and Walking Tracks. Free parking is available on site. Some rooms feature a seating area for your convenience. Each room has a private bathroom. There is a shared lounge and on arrival enjoy a drink on the deck. Delicious Continental Breakfast served by your hostess Ellie.
Ellie is a trained nurse and previously an international flight attendant, and has recently written her autobiography "8 Days a Week".
Local attractions include Miranda/Pukorokoro Shorebird Centre, migrating godwits. Famous Kaiaua Fish & Chip cafe and the Bay View Hotel - good pub menu which is 12kms away. Saturday market in Thames, the Hauraki Rail Trail from Kaiaua goes passed the front gate, cyclists can put bikes in the garage overnight, powerpoints available for recharging e-bikes, cold refreshments on arrival, you are at the gateway to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula.
