The cabin was so peaceful in the farm and bush surroundings.
The cabin was so peaceful in the farm and bush surroundings. The starry night sky was absolutely amazing. Beds were comfortable and the compositing toilet is actually inside the walls of the cabin, not outside as the description mentions. There is a lovely bathroom with bath available for use in the main house. Mary is a very friendly and helpful lady. Loved our stay.

We ate at Kaiaua hotel on the first night, a short drive away from the cottage in Miranda. It was very busy and we had to wait for over an hour for our food (which they advised us of when we arrived). The food was reasonable, mains were fish and chips, scallops and chips, burger and chips. Desserts were disappointing, extremely small size adult small ice cream, chocolate mousse was HUGE at least twice as much as needed, with aerosol cream and toppings (not a fan), we couldn't eat much of it!

Miranda holiday park exceeded my expectations completely.
Miranda holiday park exceeded my expectations completely. Very well set out and catered for all kinds of traveller's including dogs. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean, hot pool area very attractively set out and clean. Very close to hauraki cycle trail and miranda shorebird centre/wetlands and hides.

No complaints what so ever, very friendly owners, spa pool was fine with the birds in aviary chirping away, unit spacious and very comfortable, great view, local Pub meal excellent with great friendly service.

For bird watchers the Seabird Coastal Walkway is magic!
For bird watchers the Seabird Coastal Walkway is magic! The village and shops are friendly and the options for biking, walking (to the Hunua Dam) and along the coast are great for the weekend. Wonderful small piece of paradise!

Great facilities everything you need for a short or long stay, staff were excellent lots of activities for the kids, WiFi lagged a little but hey its a holiday put your devices down and relax in the mineral pool or if your lucky enjoy a spa in the comfort of your own room. Highly recommend I will definitely be back for longer

We have booked a couple of units and cabins from Miranda Tasman park. The brand new three and two bedroom were very clean and tidy and super comfortable. The older units need some new coaches and a bit more clean up. There were lots of stain in one sofas. The parks had lots of activities for kids and very fun for families and big groups. The hot pools were great

We had a wonderful time at Miranda Homestead. It is a charming and well-kept farmhouse beautifully located in green nature next to the sea. Elly is a great host. She gave us helpful tips for our journey through New Zealand and interesting insights about the country. The breakfast with fresh fruit salad, plums from the garden and Manuka honey was exceptional.

Orchard Cottage was a welcoming refuge. Peaceful, spacious, comfortable. Communication with host was excellent before and during our stay. Recommend the location for the Hauraki Rail Trail and the Seabird Cost. Good information for where to eat and get supplies. We highly recommend both The Bayview Hotel and Kaiaua Fisheries.

It was just an overnight stop so we could watch birds at Miranda
The place was very close just about 5 minutes drive away
Bonus was the electric blanket on the bed, though the room wasn't cold
