The chalet is on the edge of Coromandel Harbour and is tidal. We have wonderful bird life, including oyster catches, spoonbills, terns, ducks and many others. The views from the private jetty are of Wanganui Island, Te Kouma and Wyuna Bay.

We are a recently retired couple, our nearby house , and the chalet were built in 2015. We have lived in Coromandel for more than 40 years, having had the pharmacy there, so can give you lots of tips on travelling around the peninsula.

We are a five minute drive( 3.7 km ) from Coromandel Town, on SH 25 towards Thames, 15 mins to the Water Works, or Castle Rock. The Driving Creek Railway is a must-do experience in Coromandel. It is a 10 minute drive away. Coromandel Town, is a unique town, having been built mostly in the gold mining era of the late 1800s, there are many historic buildings.
