Ex-pat Englishman Mike, and 5th generation New Zealander Tricia - inseparable since 1970. Both semi-retired, we have worked extensively in the hospitality industry and thoroughly enjoy welcoming guests to our home. We regard it as a real privilege to learn, share or simply provide for the needs of our guests, as best we can. Mike speaks English, French and a little German, and Tricia is the maker of those world renowned home-made preserves.

You will be 100 metres from the Hauraki Rail Trail cycle way as it runs though Paeroa if you plan to cycle to Waihi, Te Aroha or Thames... in fact you are in the centre of that hub. You are also 20 minutes from the first of the awesome Coromandel beaches,the playground for locals and tourists alike. Cathedral Cove (Narnia movies) and the incredible Hot Water Beach where you dig your own beach hot tub! Also you will be just just 10 minutes by car from the awe inspiring and historical Karangahake gorge walkways, and just 2 minute drive from the restaurants and cafes of Paeroa. Spend a leisurely day browsing through Paeroa’s famous antique shops or take day trips in the car, on the motorbike or cycle. The famous tourist attractions of Rotorua, Hobbiton, Waitomo Caves, Coromandel and numerous healthy, relaxing hot springs and spas, are all within a day’s drive. Awesome!
