We are located in the beautiful Kauaeranga Valley, 6kms from Thames. Our property is secluded, has developing gardens, many trees and abundant birdlife. The Garden Suite has its own private terrace and outdoor chairs - great to spend time in the evening star gazing - it is really dark here, or in the early morning enjoying the nature. We have a black cat named Sassie who may make herself known to you.
Kia ora! We love to travel and experience other places, countries and cultures. This has made us aware of our own special place (we call it home), and enjoy sharing this with others. My husband Mike and I enjoy living in the country, meeting people, cycling, hiking, gardening, reading and music.
The Coromandel Forest Park is about 4kms further along the road from our place and has a Department of Conservation Centre for information. There are numerous walking and hiking options in the park including The Pinnacles Great Walk. Thames township is 6kms from our place and has various eating options and a good supermarket.
