Nestled beside the river at Tree Crop Farm, this cosy cabin offers a peaceful and romantic escape surrounded by nature. Set apart from the main house, it is private and secluded. The cabin has a warm, rustic vintage charm, featuring a comfortable double bed and a wood-burning fireplace that can also be used for simple cooking. Access to main house communal kitchen and private bathroom available. The leather chair overlooking the river is the winner for many. Located at the start of several beautiful walking tracks and 25 minute walk from Akaroa, it's also the perfect base for exploring the area. Pick-up from Akaroa available. Good internet access available at house kitchen, communal living area and bathroom. Smoking is permitted. Please bring lead and bedding for dogs. NB; there is a caravaning flush cartridge toilet at the hut and the private bathroom is about 50m from the hut
I'm a retired journalist and farmer, and have been welcoming guests to Tree Crop Farm for many years through retreats. The property was once a cafe, and I continue to enjoy sharing this peaceful place with visitors.
