Property info

Sandy Feet Hotel is 1.5km to North Beach or to New Brighton beach. We are 9km to the City. Best way to get to us is to drive . Rental cars are cheap , good quality cars from Not much a day . You can catch the bus this is slower but cheaper each and takes around 60-90 minutes. We have Five rooms inside and a Garden Cottage outside. 4 of our rooms have en-suites and 1 shares a bathroom with the garden cottage. Christchurch city was destroyed by a earthquake in 2010 and is still being rebuilt. So if you are looking for city nightlife , we don’t have any yet , but is slowly being rebuilt. If your stay is for a week or more we do a airport pick up and drop off. Hope to see you soon. Thanks Bruce

Neighborhood info

We are sited in New Brighton , only 1 minute drive to shops. Please remember that Christchurch was devastated by a 7.2 earthquake and over 8000 homes in our area are gone. We can appear remote on some approaches but we still are 8km to town and 1 km to the beach . If you want a city location , then please book one , however our city is also very damaged . But what we can offer if a just been renovated small private hotel , with air con in the rooms and a quiet location. Just Google Sandy Feet Hotel New Brighton , we have a walk through the rooms for you . Best to get a rental Car as these are very cheap in New Zealand , the city does not have a lot of transport options. and a taxi ride is Extra from the Airport . So grab a rental and we can help you plan the very best holiday ever The South Island has a never ending list of things you need to see.. Look forward to seeing you soon . Thanks Bruce
