Welcome to our little slice of Albert Town. Your studio has its own private entrance and is fully fenced off from the main house, so you can come and go as you please and enjoy your own separate space. It’s designed to feel peaceful, comfortable and completely your own retreat. Please note the studio does not have cooking facilities (beyond a toaster, kettle and coffee maker), so it’s best suited to guests planning to enjoy the amazing local cafés and restaurants nearby, or those just needing a clean, comfortable base while exploring the area. We live on site as a young family, so you may occasionally hear normal daytime family sounds. We genuinely do our best to maintain a relaxed and respectful environment for our guests. Your privacy is important to us and the layout ensures you have your own quiet area. If you’re looking for a private, comfortable, and darn cute base, you'll love it here.

We are only a 5 minute drive to town, or if you prefer to explore by foot or bike, there are walking and running trails right from the doorstep. We highly recommend visiting the coffee and treats caravan (White Rabbit Cakes) on the corner by the daycare, open Tuesday to Saturday. They do the best baking in Wānaka and their coffees are unmatched. Meg’s current favourite is their cold brew with foam and nutmeg on top. Our favourite walking / running trail is up Mount Iron, or along the Cardrona river, both accessible by foot if you’re a keen bean.
